Hi! This is comedian Paul D’Angelo and I’ll be headlining a night of comedy at the Carousel Theater in Boothbay Harbor on Saturday night, May 26th.
It’s my first time appearing at the Carousel Theater and I don’t get up that way very often, but I have a good friend who has a home in Boothbay and for years he has been urging me to book a show in the area, so I’m really looking forward to this event. For those of you who aren’t familiar with me, I am a former Massachusetts Assistant District Attorney and criminal defense trial attorney who juggled those careers along with my other full-time profession as a stand-up comedian before I left for Hollywood to devote myself to the entertainment business full-time. Over the last thirty-plus years I have headlined A-list comedy clubs across the country and entertained several hundred prominent corporate clients that include the Ford Motor Company, Sony Music Corp., Hewlett-Packard Corp., Nike-Bauer International, Fidelity Investments, Bike Athletic Corp., CVS/Caremark Inc., American Airlines, Delta Airlines, NFL Charities, General Electric, Goldman-Sachs, Edward Jones Investments, UPS, the American Bar Association and the Burger King Corp. I have also had the privilege of opening for over sixty international entertainers such as Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Tom Jones, Tony Bennett, The Beach Boys, Chicago, The Doobie Brothers, Hall & Oates, Bad Company, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Jerry Lee Lewis, Huey Lewis & The News, Lyle Lovett, Kenny Rogers, Jay Leno, George Carlin, Joan Rivers and Dennis Miller. I was named “Best of Boston: Comedian” several years in a row, co-starred in the popular Showtime movie, The Godfathers of Comedy, and I’m the author of two, multiple award-winning books that I will be selling and personalizing after the performance. Opening the show will be my good friend, comedian Mitch Stinson, who is a resident of Maine and a former naval aviator who made over 200 carrier landings during his career with the U.S. Navy. It’s definitely going to be a fun night, so please come out and share some laughs with us. See you soon! Paul The time has come! Be a part of the summer fun at the carousel during its 2018 season!
