Ashley Ryan is a performer based in NYC, originally from New Hartford, CT. After graduating the musical theater program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in May of last year, Ashley has created her own business from her skills as a pianist, and has toured twice around the country in The Wright Brothers- Those Daring Young Men and Their Flying Machine first as the character of Julia Weatherby and then again as Katharine Wright. Her favorite past roles include Abigail in The Crucible, Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, and Helena in A Midsummer’s Night Dream. She is excited to spend her summer here at the Carousel, performing with such talented people in this beautiful town.
Lola Silver is a recent graduate of Wagner College's Theatre Performance program in NYC. Originally from Rochester, NY Lola is thrilled to be spending the summer in stunning Maine with an incredible group of people. Past credits include Kristine/Vicki in A Chorus Line, Claire in Proof and Irene Molloy in Hello Dolly! Lola would like to thank her family for all their love and support.
Morgan is a proud alumna of The Hartt School where she earned a BFA in Music Theatre last May. Jacob Sundlie, originally from Marblehead Massachusetts, is a rising Junior BFA Musical Theatre Major at Otterbein University, where he most recently was seen as Coach Van Buren in Damn Yankees! Jacob’s professional credits include: Shawnee Playhouse The Addams Family (Gomez), Mary Poppins (Mr.Banks), Weathervane Playhouse- Mamma Mia! (Ensemble/U.s. Sam.) Other Notable Works: World Premiere of Letters From War (Broadwayworld.com Best Drama-Boston), and Peter Van Daan in The Diary of Anne Frank (for which he received a Dash Nomination). Jacob’s Directed at Marblehead Little Theatre, Otterbein University, and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. He couldn’t be more excited to share his summer with this phenomenal team and be back near the ocean where he belongs.
Tommy has recently graduated from the University at Buffalo with his BFA in Musical Theatre. Some favorite past roles he has played include Ariel in Return to the Forbidden Planet, The Narrator/Mysterious Man in Into the Woods, Cornelius Hackl in Hello Dolly!, and Frankie in Forever Plaid. He was most recently seen performing as Colonel Pickering in My Fair Lady at the University at Buffalo, and in a tribute cabaret at Musicalfare in Buffalo, New York. Tommy is beyond excited for this opportunity to be performing at the Carousel this summer with such an amazing group of people.
Matthew LLabres, originally from Frenchtown, NJ, is a recent graduate from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Since graduating, Matthew has been all across the world. He has toured across the U.S playing Orville Wright in the The Wright Brothers - Those Daring Young Men and Their Flying Machine, and has also chased his lifelong dream of backpacking Italy, where he spent one month tasting great food and wine while developing a serious back problem. This 21 year old's greatest accomplishment of all however would be that he has scheduled his own dentist appointment without any help from his parents. He is so happy to be a part of the Carousel this summer, which combines his love for theater and traveling, and is incredibly grateful to be sharing this experience with his amazingly talented cast mates.
