The 2015 Carousel Music Theater Cast
William
William Dallas Swenson is thrilled to be performing in his first season with Carousel Music Theater. A native of Syracuse, New York, William is so happy to spend his summer in Boothbay Harbor. He graduated in May with his Bachelor of Arts from Cortland State University in New York. Last summer, William was cast as a performer with a theater company in Dallas, Texas, and now is so happy to be here in Maine. Favorite roles include: Tommy inBrigadoon, Otto in Spring Awakening, Eugene in Who Wrote the Book of Love, and Reverend John Hale in The Crucible. He would like to thanks to his friends and family back home for all their support and his new family here in Maine!
Kathleen
Kathleen Perry graduated from the College of Charleston in South Carolina with a degree in Vocal Performance and a minor in dance. She then moved to NYC in spring of 2011 to pursue her dream of performing. After a four year hiatus, she is finally getting back into performing. Past credits include: Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat (Wife), Damn Yankees(Lola), Guys and Dolls (Hot Box Dancer), and Meet Me in St. Louis (Ensemble). Other projects include commercials with names such as Tanqueray and Amway, a short film directed by We Are Films entitled Cheating September, and a music video which she choreographed as well as danced in for the band Young Oceans. Kathleen is thrilled to be spending her summer at Carousel Music Theater in picturesque Maine and plans on eating lots of lobster rolls!

JenniferJennifer Pagano is from Frederick Maryland. She has a BFA in Musical Theater from Coastal Carolina University where roles include The Baker’s Wife in In To The Woods, April Green in The Hot L Baltimore, and Gretchen in Boeing, Boeing! Since graduating last year, she has been performing on the east coast and seen in such productions as Hairspray (Velma), Les Miserables, Sleep in Safety(Tommie) and her most recent role as Anna in The King and I. She is Thrilled to be performing this summer at Carousel Music Theater in the beautiful State of Maine!
Sarah
Sarah is so excited to be joining Carousel Music Theater this summer! Originally from Ellicott City, Maryland, Sarah just received her degree in Music Theatre from James Madison University. While there, she performed roles such as Alma in the original work Our Glorious Cause and the March Hare in the new musical Life is But a Dream. She also performed in operas, including La Bohème and The Magic Flute. Other favorite roles include Jane in Patience and The Lady of the Lake in Spamalot. In her spare time she enjoys knitting, playing guitar and painting her nails every color imaginable! Much thanks to Robb for the opportunity, her college voice teacher Brenda K. Witmer and her family and friends for the never-ending support!
Ian
Ian Pruneda is thrilled to be joining Carousel Music Theater for summer 2015! Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Ian has been actively performing and studying both Musical Theater and Opera for the past 10 years. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Opera Performance from UCLA, he recently graduated with a Masters of Music from New York University’s Steinhart School. Ian has performed on both the West and East Coasts, as well as internationally. His favorite past roles include Arnalta (L’incoronazione di Poppea), Nicely-Nicely (Guys and Dolls), Teen Angel (Grease), and Mercury (Orpheus and the Underworld), to name a few. When Ian is off the stage, he enjoys nature, tending to his houseplants, hosting dinner parties, and spending time with his dog. Love and thanks to family, friends, and Aaron!
