Grant Jacoby is thrilled to be joining Carousel Music Theater this summer! A native of Wellesley, Massachusetts, Grant is a recent graduate of Connecticut College where
he double majored in Theater and Dance. He was also fortunate to study at Trinity/ La MaMa Urban Arts Semester and MADE in France. While at Conn, he appeared
in productions of The Rocky Horror Show, Bat Boy, The Last Five Years, Threepenny Opera, The Tempest, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Friday the 13th: The Musical. Other favorite theater credits include Urinetown, The Who’s Tommy, A Chorus Line, Children of Eden, Les Miserables, Fiddler on the Roof, and Flowers for
Algernon. Grant has also had the pleasure of performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, La MaMa Experimental Theater Club, and Les Champs Melisey, as well as
working with Obie Award Winning Peculiar Works Project, Elevator Repair Service, The York Theatre Company, FAB NYC, and Movement Workshop Group. Much thanks to his family, friends, teachers, and always, DSO, for their undying support and encouragement over the years!
This is Maggie’s first year at Carousel Theater and she is delighted to be part of the cast this summer! Originally from Boston, MA she recently received her Bachelor of
Arts from Regis College. Well known as a “multi-talented girl”, she has been gracing the stages of her hometown singing at Universities, and local Jazz Clubs in the
Boston area. Maggie was part of The Miss America Organization for 2 consecutive years, where she earned the title of Miss Norfolk County 2010 and Miss Fall River
2011. She also won the Preliminary Talent Award and placed in the finals at The Miss Massachusetts Pageant. One of her favorite appearances was singing at the Boston State House for the Mayor. Maggie developed a love for the Arts at a very young age and won many local competitions singing alongside her big brother Tony. She has been part of various musical productions and some of her favorites include Beauty and the Beast (Belle), Grease (Patty Simcox) and the Wizard of Oz (Dorothy). In her spare time she enjoys reading, traveling, watching Disney movies, modeling, and spending quality time with loved ones. A big shout out to family and friends for all the continued support and a huge thank you to Mom and Dad for always
believing in her.
Teresa Morrison is super excited to be making her debut at Carousel Music Theater! She recently graduated with a BFA in Musical Theater from Montclair State University. A New Jersey native, Teresa has never been this far from home, but is so thrilled to be starting her journey as a professional performer here in Maine! Favorite past credits include: Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Nettie Fowler in Carousel, and Madeline True in The Wild Party, among many others. When not on stage, she enjoys hot yoga, going for a run, and singing karaoke. She would like to thank her family and friends who have
given her all the love and support a girl could ask for! She is forever grateful to you all.
Carissa McCurdy is delighted to be joining the Carousel Music Theater cast for the 2013 season. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Carissa received her BAC in Musical Theatre and has been performing in Ohio for many years. Her most recent credits include playing the roles of Karin in Church Basement Ladies 2: A Second Helping and Cheryl in Miss Nelson Is Missing! at The Round Barn Theatre in Nappanee, IN. Favorite roles include The Baker's Wife in Into The Woods and Penelope Pennywise in Urinetown. She would like to thank her friends and family for all of their love and support. As always---for mom. Scott Mulligan is pleased to be joining Carousel Music Theater this summer as a recent graduate of The Boston Conservatory, where he received a BFA in Musical Theatre. He has been performing his whole life, having been apart of many shows, concerts and competitions. Some of his favorite roles he has enjoyed playing are J.P Finch (How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), Sky Masterson (Guys and Dolls), and Harold Hill (The Music Man). All the way from the Pacific Northwest in Seattle Washington, Scott enjoys backpacking, camping and outdoor adventures. He can’t wait to explore the scenic landscape of Maine and experience the beautiful town of Boothbay Harbor.
